Rolls-Royce is betting everything on exclusivity for 2026. The British carmaker is preparing the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, a series of 25 examples celebrating the model's centennial. Built to Bespoke standards, this collector's edition features gold accents and 77 hand-drawn motifs.

Only One Official Novelty on the Schedule

2026 at Rolls-Royce will be about celebration rather than reinvention. After the 2025 facelifts of the Cullinan and Ghost, Goodwood is playing it conservative with just one official new offering: the Phantom Centenary Private Collection.

This special edition marks 100 years of the Phantom, launched in 1925. A logical move for a brand that cultivates its heritage like few others in the automotive industry.

The Phantom Centenary Private Collection Detailed

The limited run comes in exactly 25 examples, each the product of painstaking handcraft. The project rests on 77 hand-drawn motifs that trace the model's history, integrated through artisanal techniques and premium materials.

The bicolor livery—Super Champagne Crystal on Arctic White and Black—evokes Hollywood's golden age in the 1930s. A deliberate nod to the cinema stars who built the brand's reputation.

The headline? The Spirit of Ecstasy in solid 24-karat gold. A first for Rolls-Royce, which typically reserves such treatment for interior elements. The price? Still under wraps, but expect something well north of the €600,000 baseline for a standard Phantom.

What Will This Collector's Series Cost?

Rolls-Royce is staying quiet on the Centenary Private Collection price tag. With a standard Phantom sitting around €600,000, this exclusive version should easily cross the million-euro mark. The 77 hand-drawn motifs and 24-karat gold justify the ultra-premium positioning.

Production kicks off in 2026 with deliveries spread across several months. Each example requires weeks of artisanal labor through the Bespoke division.

The Rest of the Lineup in Consolidation Mode

For other models, 2026 looks like a transition year. The Ghost and Cullinan are still riding their 2025 facelifts, while the Spectre electric continues the run that started in 2023.

The Spectre delivers 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque with a 407 km range. In Canada, it starts at $528,405 with transport included. A recent test version came in at $706,495 with options.

Special Series Still Possible

Even though no other launches are official, Rolls-Royce maintains its tradition of surprise special editions. These ultra-personalized versions, reserved for select clients, can appear without warning.

The carmaker is banking on continuity in its current range while preparing what's next. Gradual electrification continues with the Spectre, the marque's first series-production 100% electric Rolls-Royce.

So 2026 shapes up as a consolidation year for Rolls-Royce. The Phantom Centenary Private Collection will carry the spotlight alone, a reminder that in automotive luxury, rarity often trumps volume. Those 25 examples will almost certainly find homes before production even begins.
