Jeep Gladiator 2026 Whitecap: Retro Two-Tone Edition

Jeep is bringing back the Whitecap series for the 2026 Gladiator, just months after the Wrangler edition dropped. This special two-tone package stands out with its white rigid roof, matching stripes, and white grille surround. At $495, it'll be offered in limited quantities across multiple Gladiator trims.
"This is the second special edition of our Convoy campaign, celebrating our heritage with timeless design suited for the trails." — Bob Broderdorf, Jeep CEO
Two-Tone Styling That Actually Pops
The Gladiator Whitecap borrows the formula that made its little brother the Wrangler such a hit. The styling package plays with sharp contrast: Bright White rigid roof, matching grille surround, and white stripes branded with the "1941" badge on the sides.
This retro aesthetic pulls straight from WWII-era military Jeeps. The American brand's leaning hard into nostalgia—and honestly, why not? Willys-Overland knocked out something like 360,000 Jeeps from their Toledo plant between October 1941 and August 1945.
Five Trims on the Menu
The Whitecap edition rolls out across Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X versions. The last four get an extra white hood decal showing which trim you've got.
Now here's the catch: standard Rubicon and Mojave trims need a couple of boxes ticked. You'll have to spring for color-matched fender flares (495 bucks) and the matching Freedom Top roof to get the full Whitecap package.
What's the Price Tag?
The Whitecap package runs $495 across all eligible trims. That's actually pretty decent for a special edition, even if we're talking mostly cosmetic tweaks here.
This aggressive pricing slots right into Jeep's "Convoy campaign," which is rolling out several limited editions this year to celebrate the brand's 85th anniversary.
What Else Is New on the 2026 Gladiator?
Beyond Whitecap, the 2026 model year brings some other improvements. Door hinges got a refresh to make removal easier—a tradition Jeep owners actually care about.
The Sport S trim can now get all-terrain tires as an option. On the color front, two fresh shades join the lineup: Reign Mauve and Gobi Ochre. More ways to make your pickup stand out.
The Gladiator keeps its 3.6-liter V6 pumping out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. That 4xe plug-in hybrid project they promised for 2025? Stellantis killed it.
Availability and the Competition
Gladiator Whitecap orders are live right now. Jeep's calling it "limited quantities" but didn't spill numbers.
In the mid-size pickup fight, the Gladiator squares off against the Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado, and Toyota Tacoma. None of them offer anything like this right now, giving Jeep a temporary edge.
This limited-edition strategy keeps buzz alive on a truck reaching the end of its cycle. Until the next generation lands, these special runs keep the faithful hooked on that seven-slot grille.
