UK dealers are slashing prices on the Hyundai Santa Fe with discounts reaching £6,000 as part of Carwow's March commercial operation. This promotion gets you the seven-seater family SUV for around £43,000 in Premium trim with the 1.6-litre hybrid engine.

Prices that hit the competition hard

The numbers speak for themselves. With £6,000 in average discounts, the Santa Fe suddenly becomes seriously attractive against direct rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq or the Volkswagen Tayron. This substantial saving positions the Korean SUV around £43,000 in base Premium trim with the 1.6-litre hybrid engine.

The commercial operation is part of Carwow's "March sale," the UK automotive sales platform. Participating dealers are offering these attractive prices on stock vehicles and those available on order.

Award after award

The Santa Fe keeps racking up accolades. After winning "Best Seven-seat SUV" at the What Car? Awards 2026, it took the same honour in 2025. More recently, Cars.com crowned it "Best Family Car of 2026".

💡 Did you know?
The Santa Fe was also named "Car of the Year 2025" by Carwow, beating numerous European competitors in this hotly contested category.

These accolades don't come out of nowhere. Steve Huntingford, Editor-in-Chief of What Car?, points out that "the Santa Fe's angular and striking design doesn't just help it stand out visually from the sea of SUVs – it helps make it an excellent seven-seater."

What does the Santa Fe really cost?

Outside of promotions, the Santa Fe range starts around £49,000 in Premium trim. With the current £6,000 discount, you're looking at roughly £43,000. Positioning that becomes particularly competitive in the seven-seater family SUV segment.

The Premium trim already comes loaded: twin 12.3-inch screens, electric tailgate, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, hands-free access, electrically adjustable heated front seats and a full suite of driving aids.

Space is king

The Santa Fe banks on roominess to win over families. With its unapologetically boxy lines, it offers more legroom than the rival Skoda Kodiaq, especially in the second and third rows. Rear seats fold completely flat, freeing up a 628-litre load space in five-seat configuration.

💡 Technical point
The Santa Fe's extra-wide side windows deliver brilliant visibility for all passengers, even those in the third row.

Doors open wide for easy access – a nice touch when you've got kids in tow. The third row is really geared toward youngsters, though adults can squeeze in for short trips.

Sensible hybrid mechanics

Under the bonnet, the 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid musters 230 horsepower and serves up respectable performance for a vehicle this size. Mixed fuel consumption sits around 6.5 litres per 100 kilometres on the WLTP cycle – reasonable figures for a seven-seater SUV.

All-wheel drive remains available as an option on certain trims, but front-wheel drive proves plenty for regular family motoring. The priority is comfort with suspension tuned to soak up road imperfections rather than chase handling thrills.

Up against the rivals

Versus the Skoda Kodiaq, which traditionally dominates this segment, the Santa Fe stands out with more contemporary styling and more generous standard kit. The Kodiaq remains more rational in list prices and offers slightly superior finish.
