Ford reveals the 2026 F-250 4x4 Crew Cab interior with fold-flat seats and built-in karaoke. This premium pickup hits nearly $90,000 with options and banks on onboard technology to seduce buyers.

Seats That Transform Into a Bunk

The F-250 2026 offers an option that'll raise eyebrows: fold-flat front seats for $560. Sounds gimmicky until you've spent a long day on a construction site. The rear seats flip up to free cargo space and let the front seats deploy completely flat.

Headroom isn't an issue in this Crew Cab cabin. The interior offers generous volume, especially in back where passengers get comfortable legroom. The optional dual-panel sunroof brings welcome light to this expansive interior.

Technology That Balances Practical and Peculiar

The F-250 dashboard follows current trends with a digital instrument cluster. But Ford kept its wits about it: large physical buttons for volume and radio tuning, knobs for climate control, and dedicated buttons for heated and ventilated seats.

The infotainment screen hides a few surprises. Alongside standard features like YouTube, Ford tucked in a karaoke machine. More useful daily: the integrated scale system that tells you cargo weight without a trip to the weigh station.

How Many Electrical Accessories Can You Run at Once?

The F-250 can power up to six electrical accessories simultaneously. A capacity that speaks to professionals running tools on jobsites or weekend warriors outfitting their truck for adventures.

The $2,250 Lariat Premium package adds adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. Front parking sensors prove particularly handy when your bumper sits several meters ahead of your driving position.

The 7.3-Liter V8 "Godzilla" Under the Hood

The 7.3-liter V8 pumps out 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. Nicknamed "Godzilla," this naturally aspirated engine looks almost dainty in the cavernous engine bay of the F-250. A powertrain that prioritizes reliability and simplicity over the turbocharged competition.

Exterior mirrors deploy electrically for towing or retract for city driving. Handy when this pickup stretches over 2 meters wide with mirrors out.

What Does This Tech Monster Cost?

The Car and Driver test truck hit nearly $90,000 fully loaded. The Black Appearance package includes blacked-out body trim, black wheels with all-terrain tires, and a spray-in bed liner. Ruby Red Metallic paint costs an extra $495.

Side steps make bed access easier, while roof bars on the cabin round out this worksite pickup. A price point that squares off the F-250 Lariat against fully loaded Ram 2500 and Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD versions.
